To Me, Without This Man, whom many current craft beer drinkers know nothing about, we couldn't be where we are. Yes, somebody else would have written about beer but would it be the same??
He continuously wrote until his death about every aspect of beer(and many other alcoholic libations) and organized enough information to build almost every foundation of the beer world.
He Created and Curated all the different "Styles" that we know, love and have grown upon. He dove into technical data like Plato, ABV, IBU... while contributing to the community that surrounds beer from the malt & hop farmers to the consumers.
