Dan Diegos was opened in March of 2013 by Chef Ryan Fulton. The restaurant embodied the culmination of his vision to not only provide simple, hearty, and made-from-scratch meals to the Bay Park community in which he grew up, but also to honor the memory of his older brother, Daniel Fulton, who had passed shortly before the restaurant's opening. Dan worked in New York as a Sound Editor for movies and tv shows, and his nickname there was shortened from "Dan from San Diego" to simply "Dan Diego" by friends and colleagues. Ryan knew that his brother would like a family based place where people could feel comfortable and welcome while enjoying great food, drinks, and company. So whether you stop by for a drink, grab a beer or family meal to go, come in to watch the game, or to try our famous bread pudding, we say, welcome and enjoy!
